This role as an Automation Engineer is integral to maintaining the critical water and wastewater infrastructure of Berlin. Key responsibilities include the maintenance and documentation of Measurement, Control, and Regulation (MSR) components, including sensors and actuators, and managing software versioning. Candidates must possess a Bachelor's degree or be a State-certified Technician in Electrical Engineering specializing in Automation Technology. Proficiency in industrial protocols like Profibus DP and Profinet, along with specific knowledge of WinCC and Step7, is required.
