Electrical Engineering Planner for Fire Protection Projects | Elektroingenieur (m/w/d)

Job Summary

This role involves working as an Electrical Engineering Planner focusing on fire protection projects within the Planning and Construction department of Berlin's largest water and wastewater utility. The successful candidate will manage projects across all phases, from initial inventory and planning through tendering, construction supervision, and final handover to the facility operator. Day-to-day tasks include performing planning services according to HOAI phases 1-8, specifically covering fire barriers, fire alarm systems, and safety lighting, creating specifications, evaluating technical bids, and conducting independent construction supervision. This position requires a Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering (preferably focusing on Power Engineering) or equivalent experience, deep knowledge of relevant German construction and technical standards (VDE, HOAI, VOB), and strong proficiency in MS Office, CAE, and AVA software.
