Job Summary

This role involves supporting crucial operational and project-related procurement activities within the Engineering Procurement department in Basel. The Procurement Delivery Associate will be responsible for managing contracts, handling smaller tenders, and processing essential documentation such as guarantees, acceptance protocols, and insurance papers. A core function is coordinating both ad-hoc and planned purchasing activities to ensure project success while strictly adhering to relevant corporate policies and standards. The ideal candidate must possess a commercial background and at least three years of experience in procurement. Success requires excellent organizational skills, proficiency in SAP and e-Contracting tools, and the ability to collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and external suppliers. This is a temporary, two-year position with a high likelihood of extension, offering flexible working hours (70-100% capacity) and one day of remote work per week.

Required Skills

Education

Completed commercial training (Kaufmännische Ausbildung) or equivalent qualification. Additional training in Purchasing/Materials Management or a Bachelor's degree is highly desirable.

Experience

  • Minimum 3 years of professional experience in procurement/purchasing
  • Experience managing and executing tender processes and contract documentation
  • Professional experience coordinating ad-hoc and scheduled procurement activities
  • Experience collaborating with internal stakeholders and suppliers

Additional
