Job Summary
This role involves managing the knowledge platform for environmental administration, specifically focusing on nature conservation within the Baden-Württemberg State Institute for Environment. The successful candidate will be a key member of the nature conservation editorial team, responsible for structuring, updating, and ensuring the quality of relevant content. Day-to-day tasks include supporting decentralized expert editorial teams, managing document repositories, and contributing to the platform's strategic development. This position is ideal for someone with a strong background in environmental sciences or communication, combined with expertise in nature conservation, who is looking to contribute to knowledge transfer and administrative support in a public sector environment. Required Skills
Education
Completed university degree (Diplom/Master's) in Biology, Ecology, Geoecology, Environmental Sciences, or a comparable field with a focus on Ecology; OR a completed university degree (Diplom/Master's) in Communication Sciences or comparable, with strong knowledge in nature conservation and ecology. Master's degrees not from a university must be accredited for higher civil service access at the time of graduation. Foreign degrees require evaluation from the Central Office for Foreign Education.
Experience
- Professional experience in nature conservation-related topics, including practical administrative implementation
- Experience with standard IT applications and willingness to learn new IT topics
- Experience in digital knowledge transfer (advantageous)
- Experience in knowledge management (advantageous)
- Administrative experience or knowledge of the structure and operations of nature conservation administration in Baden-Württemberg (advantageous)

- Proof of accreditation for Master's degrees not from a university is required. For foreign degrees, a certificate evaluation from the Central Office for Foreign Education must be submitted. Position is eligible for civil servant status if personal, career, and budgetary requirements are met. Consideration for severely disabled persons.
