Job Summary

This role at the University Hospital Erlangen involves contributing to a DFG-funded research project focused on advancing image-guided brachytherapy. The successful candidate will be responsible for the (pre-)clinical development, implementation, and testing of real-time navigation procedures for interventional radiotherapy, utilizing a mobile Cone-Beam-CT system and optical tracking. Key tasks include planning and conducting experimental studies, analyzing image data, developing algorithms for needle bending correction, and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team.
