Job Summary

This role involves providing expert guidance and knowledge transfer in business accounting, serving as a key contact for pre-accounting inquiries, and processing pre-bookings and invoices. The successful candidate will also manage personal master data, contribute to the implementation of digital ordering systems, and test financial software updates. The position is part-time (25 hours/week) within the "Finance and Financial Controlling" department of the Segeberg district administration. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional with a background in public administration or business to contribute to financial operations and digital transformation initiatives within a supportive public sector environment.

Required Skills

Education

Completed training as an Administrative Specialist (Angestelltenlehrgang II) OR a completed degree in administrative or economic sciences OR completed training as an Administrative Assistant or a commercial apprenticeship with subsequent willingness to complete the Administrative Specialist training. Ideally, completion of "Municipal Financial Accountant" training or willingness to complete it.

Experience

  • At least 2 years of professional experience in accounting (ideally)
  • At least 2 years of professional experience in public service (if not holding specific degrees)
  • Experience with municipal double-entry bookkeeping (ideally)
  • Experience with digital ordering systems (ideally)

Languages

German (Fluent)

  • Driver's license Class B / 3 and willingness to use own car for business travel (with reimbursement)
