Job Summary

The City of Aachen is seeking an IT Coordinator for its Youth and School Department. This role is pivotal in managing all IT tasks within the department, including the support of specialized applications, and will grow in importance with ongoing digital transformation. The successful candidate will develop and maintain the IT framework concept, contribute to the department's digitalization strategy, and lead IT application and infrastructure projects. Day-to-day, you will program ACCESS applications, coordinate with central IT management and software vendors, and provide IT support to department staff. This position requires strong analytical and conceptual skills, a structured approach, and a high degree of solution orientation, along with programming skills in ACCESS databases and VBA.
