Job Summary

Join a leading engineering and IT company as a Network Security Engineer, focusing on DMZ environments for a partner in Hanover, Germany. This role offers a long-term perspective in a security-critical field, with the project running until at least December 2025 and significant remote work flexibility after an initial two-week onboarding. You will be responsible for administering complex IT security systems, including Linux servers, Checkpoint and Fortinet firewalls, f5 WAF, load balancers, and proxy solutions. Day-to-day tasks involve active system monitoring, 2nd-level support for DMZ operations, configuring VPN connections, troubleshooting, and managing incidents and changes. This position allows you to deepen your expertise in network security while contributing to infrastructure stability and security.
