University degree in Natural Sciences with a strong analytical focus in Chemistry or Food Chemistry, preferably with a doctorate. Master's degrees not acquired at a university must be accredited for access to higher civil service at the time of graduation. For foreign degrees, a certificate evaluation from the Central Office for Foreign Education is required.

• Several years of practical experience in instrumental analytics, especially organic trace substances, in a quality-assured area
• Ministerial experience
• Several years of professional experience/proven track record in at least two different administrative levels
• Leadership experience

• Must be a civil servant in the higher service career path or a comparable salaried employee. Ability to work conceptually and strategically. High resilience, decisiveness, and assertiveness.
