Job Summary

This role is for an IT Services & Software Management Coordinator at the Dortmund System House, responsible for the entire IT infrastructure of the City of Dortmund's administration. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in coordinating IT-related processes, particularly focusing on software distribution and application management. Day-to-day tasks involve managing packaging orders, conducting integration tests, and overseeing software and application distribution using tools like MECM and MDM. This position acts as a central interface between city departments, technical teams, and strategic decision-makers, contributing to the structured and sustainable digital transformation of the city administration. Required Skills

Education

Completed degree in Computer Science or another IT-focused study program, OR completed relevant vocational training in IT (e.g., IT specialist, IT systems electronics technician), OR completed commercial vocational training with an IT focus (e.g., IT systems merchant, IT management assistant) combined with comprehensive skills and experience in the mentioned areas.

Experience

  • Extensive experience in the IT environment, ideally with a focus on software distribution and IT coordination
  • Extensive experience in coordinating IT projects
  • Experience in conducting integration tests and quality assurance of IT services is desirable
