Job Summary
The Waterways and Shipping Office Weser is seeking a motivated Project Engineer specializing in Electrical Engineering for a full-time, fixed-term position until December 31, 2034, based in Verden. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the planning and execution of renovations and modernizations, focusing on energy, plant, and control technology, ensuring the compliant realization of traffic infrastructure. Your responsibilities will include preparing technical reports, managing the procurement and implementation of electrical and control engineering works, and overseeing the documentation and billing of construction projects. Required Skills
Education
University degree (FH-Diplom, Bachelor, or Master) in Electrical Engineering or a comparable field.
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in electrical engineering
- Experience in public procurement and contract law (VOB, VgV, UVgO, GWB and HOAI) (desirable)
- Experience with SPS technology, preferably Siemens TIA-Program, and drive technology with frequency converters (desirable)
- Experience in electrical planning and using an electrical planning system (desirable)
- Experience with relevant VDE standards (desirable)

- Class B driver's license with willingness to drive official vehicles; Willingness to undertake regular, sometimes multi-day, business trips within the WSA Weser area; Willingness for continuous specialized professional development; Health and physical suitability for the tasks (e.g., site inspections); German swimming badge (at least Bronze).
