Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Associate specializing in automated cell culture to join a dynamic Lead Discovery team in Basel. You will be instrumental in ensuring consistent and reliable large-scale mammalian cell production, crucial for High-Throughput Screening (HTS) and profiling campaigns. The role involves operating and maintaining sophisticated automated cell culture systems, planning and executing complex biochemical and cellular assays, and managing subsequent data analysis. A key aspect of this position is contributing to the development of a "lab of the future" by expanding expertise in laboratory automation and digital processes, potentially including the design of new automated systems. Candidates must possess a scientific degree (Bachelor's or Master's) and at least two years of relevant experience in large-scale cell culture and assay development within the biotech or pharmaceutical sector. This position requires strong troubleshooting skills, a solution-oriented mindset, and fluent English communication abilities, working closely within a matrix team environment.
