Job Summary

As the Associate Director of Global Signal Management, you will serve as the worldwide process owner, leading the strategic direction and execution of all safety signal identification and analysis for Sandoz and its partner products. Your daily tasks involve overseeing external service providers, ensuring compliance with global pharmacovigilance regulations (ICH GCP, GVP), and defining the long-term strategy for automated signal detection. A key focus is the continuous improvement and maintenance of the global signal management tool, integrating regulatory data and exploring AI-driven solutions like Large Language Models (LLMs). This senior role requires a minimum of six years of hands-on pharmacovigilance experience, an advanced degree in a relevant medical or scientific field (e.g., PharmD, PhD), and fluent English. You will act as a subject matter expert during audits and inspections, provide strategic leadership in an international matrix environment, and mentor team members, making this an attractive opportunity for an experienced PV professional seeking global impact and innovation leadership.

Required Skills

Education

Bachelor’s or advanced degree (Pharmacy, Nursing, Medicine – MBBS/MD, PharmD, or PhD in a relevant field)

Experience

  • Minimum of 6 years’ experience in pharmacovigilance operations, including hands-on signal detection and management
  • Professional experience in aggregate reporting, case processing, and risk management planning (asset)
  • Proven ability to lead, motivate, and foster teamwork in an international matrix environment
  • Experience with PV audits, inspections, and CAPA implementation
