Job Summary
This role involves supporting and advising the head of the Building Authority on fundamental legal and organizational matters related to building law. A key focus is on implementing and optimizing digitalization processes, including the introduction of OZG services like digital building applications and digital heritage lists. The coordinator will actively promote digital approval procedures, conduct research, and develop post-digitalization processes, working closely with the department head. Additionally, the position requires independent technical administration of specialized applications (ProBauG, ProDenkmal, ProBrandschutz) and providing coordination, support, and training to local administrations regarding the digitalization of the Building Authority. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional with a background in public administration and a strong interest in digital transformation within the public sector.
Required Skills
Education
Bachelor's degree in Public Administration or General Administration, or certified Administrative Specialist (Verwaltungsfachwirt), or completed A II course. Completed IT training is desirable.
Experience
- Thorough professional knowledge in public building and heritage law
- Thorough professional knowledge in information technology or willingness to acquire it
- Professional experience in supporting and advising leadership on legal and organizational matters
- Experience in implementing and optimizing digitalization processes

Additional
- Driver's license class B required. Must be eligible to work in Germany. Position is located in Güstrow.
