This role is for an SAP Application Consultant specializing in public finance, specifically within municipal accounting and payment transactions. The successful candidate will support communal administrations in financial accounting, payment processing, and dunning/enforcement, while optimizing SAP KommunalMaster-Finanzen software. Day-to-day tasks include user support, customizing, problem analysis, solution development, and documentation, often in collaboration with manufacturers. The position also involves planning and executing software updates, testing new features, and analyzing financial processes for SAP implementation projects. Required Skills
Education
(Specialized) University degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Public Service/Administration, e-Government, or similar, OR completed vocational training as an IT Specialist (Application Development) or comparable knowledge and experience
Experience
- Professional experience in financial accounting and payment transactions or dunning/enforcement
- Practical experience in the financial sector of public administration or application consulting
- Familiarity with New Municipal Financial Management (NKF)
