Job Summary
This role as a Biological-Technical Assistant at Saarland University's Molecular Pharmacology group involves hands-on laboratory work and organizational tasks. You will be responsible for preparing tissue sections, performing FACS analyses, and working with primary cells and cell lines. The position also includes physiological measurements, laboratory organization, and guiding students. The ideal candidate will have a completed BTA qualification with professional experience or an equivalent background in cell culture, along with strong English skills and experience in histological and immunohisto-chemical methods. Completed training as a Biological-Technical Assistant (BTA) or equivalent qualification (e.g., MTA, CTA) with relevant cell culture knowledge.
Experience
- Professional experience after completing BTA training
- Relevant knowledge in cell culture (for alternative qualifications)
- Experience with histological and (immuno)histochemical methods

Additional
- Foreign degree holders require proof of equivalence from ZAB. Position is initially limited to 2 years with potential for extension.
