Job Summary
Join a dynamic research group focused on analytical information systems to drive digitalization in the "SmartReUse" project. This role involves developing a software solution for AI-driven optimization of recyclate use in plastics processing and production. You will be instrumental in conceptualizing and implementing a data platform, selecting and applying machine learning methods for pattern recognition and recipe recommendations, and contributing to scientific publications. Required Skills
Education
Completed degree in Computer Science or comparable fields (e.g., Business Informatics, Media Informatics). For foreign degrees, a credential evaluation from the Central Office for Foreign Education (ZAB) is required.
Experience
- Professional experience in modern software development and architectures
- Experience in data analysis and/or machine learning (advantageous)

- This is a full-time (40.06 hours/week) position, limited until June 30, 2028, under the German Act on Fixed-Term Employment Contracts in Academia (Wissenschaftszeitvertragsgesetz). Compensation is based on the collective agreement for the public service of the federal states (TV-L). Applicants with severe disabilities will be given preference if equally qualified.
