Job Summary

This role offers a student assistant the opportunity to contribute to aptitude diagnostics and human resources within the Federal Office of Administration (BVA) in Cologne. Day-to-day tasks include conducting research on current topics in aptitude diagnostics and personnel management, assisting with personnel selection processes and training sessions, and developing and analyzing statistics for evaluation and controlling. The position also involves helping to further develop and evaluate test-based aptitude diagnostics and handling the organizational preparation and follow-up of appointments and workshops. This is an attractive opportunity for students with a background in psychology or HR to gain practical experience in the public sector, working independently on projects with flexible hours and potential for continued employment.

Required Skills

Education

Bachelor's or Diploma degree in (Business) Psychology, Human Resources Management, or a comparable field with a focus on Human Resources, obtained or to be obtained by September 30, 2025. Currently enrolled in a higher education institution for at least one more year.

Experience

  • Professional experience in psychological diagnostics, work and organizational psychology, and research methods/statistics (demonstrably successful completion of study modules)
  • Initial experience in the listed task areas is beneficial

Additional

  • Must be currently enrolled as a student for at least one additional year. The position is temporary until December 31, 2027. Foreign degrees require proof of equivalence. The application process will be conducted in German.
