Job Summary

This role involves preparing, conducting, and following up on lessons for various training programs, including those for administrative specialists and office management clerks, as well as mid-level civil service candidates. The lecturer will develop and revise both analog and digital teaching concepts, select appropriate teaching methods, and adapt content to participant needs. Key responsibilities include teaching at least three subjects from a range including administrative law, public procurement law, civil law, and IT applications (MS-Office), as well as creating exam drafts and contributing to quality assurance. This position offers an opportunity to shape the education of future public servants within the Federal Administration Office, a central service provider for the German federal government, and to take on subject matter responsibility.

Required Skills

Education

• Accredited university degree (min. Bachelor) in law, administration, or economics, OR • Qualification as an Administrative Specialist (Verwaltungsfachwirt/in), OR • Successfully completed preparatory service or advancement procedure for the higher non-technical administrative service career path (Beamter/Beamtin with A11 and A12 BBesO), OR • Accredited university degree (min. Bachelor) in another field such as social sciences, political science, educational science, or media studies

Experience

  • At least one year of practical experience enabling teaching in at least one of the specified subjects
  • Experience in teaching activities in the listed subjects and in adult education (advantageous)
