Job Summary

This role involves steering and coordinating key political and statewide digitalization projects for the State of Berlin, ensuring timely organization and budgetary allocation. The successful candidate will be responsible for strategy development and political-coordinative management of state-wide and federal committees within the Chief Digital Officer's (CDO) remit. A core part of the job includes developing medium- and long-term implementation strategies for administrative modernization and digitalization, alongside providing legal and expert advice for NewWork processes. Required Skills

Education

Master's degree or equivalent in Law, Literature, Economics, Finance, Administration, Political Science, or Political Philosophy.

Experience

  • Professional experience in steering and coordinating political/statewide core projects
  • Experience in strategy development and political-coordinative management
  • Experience in developing implementation strategies for administrative modernization and digitalization
  • Experience in legal and expert consulting for integral processes
  • Experience with special assignments and projects (e.g., organizational development)

  • The role involves security-sensitive activities requiring an extended security check (SÜ 2) according to the Berlin Security Review Act (BSÜG), and potentially a review by the Federal Archives – Stasi Records Archive.
