Job Summary

The Berlin Senate Chancellery is seeking a dedicated professional to strategically manage and advance its E-Government cross-sectional and trust services, including a multi-channel strategy. This role involves leading digital projects, particularly in E-Government trust services like Governikus, and acting as a guide for Berlin authorities in integrating these services. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a cross-service program and project portfolio management system, utilizing methodologies such as Objectives and Key Results (OKR). Key activities include conducting requirements and needs analyses, monitoring strategic goals, and managing internal communication and public relations related to digital initiatives. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the digital transformation of Berlin's public administration.

Required Skills

Education

Completed relevant scientific university degree (Master or equivalent) in Law, Economics, Finance, Administrative or Political Sciences, Business Informatics, or Administrative Informatics; or equivalent skills and experience.

Experience

  • At least two years of professional experience in project management within an IT environment
  • Preferred experience in the public sector

German (Fluent)

Additional

  • Fulfillment of civil service career requirements for the second entry-level of career group 2 of the general non-technical administrative service (for civil servants). The entire selection process will be conducted in German.
