Job Summary

This role is for an IT Specialist focused on Telecommunications Architectures within the City of Stuttgart's Office for Digitization, Organization, and IT. The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing technical requirements, developing robust concepts, and designing future-oriented telecommunications architectures for 17,000 city users. Key responsibilities include initiating, planning, and leading large-scale, cross-departmental projects related to TK infrastructure, developing migration strategies for existing systems, and integrating modern collaboration and conference systems. The position also involves selecting, managing, and ensuring the quality of external service providers. Required Skills

Education

University degree in Computer Science or a comparable field, or a completed IT vocational training with several years of relevant professional experience.

Experience

  • Practical skills in system integration and interface programming, e.g., with scripting languages like Python or Perl
  • Professional experience in the advertised area for those with an IT vocational training
