Job Summary

This role involves taking charge of the IT client infrastructure architecture, focusing on Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) platforms, software packaging, and client operating systems. Day-to-day, you will be responsible for the conception, ongoing development, maintenance, administration, and documentation of these critical IT client architectures. A key part of the role is independent problem identification and resolution, developing decision-making templates, and presenting findings. You will also ensure the efficient implementation of IT security requirements and act as a technical expert for a diverse infrastructure team, contributing to cross-team and cross-departmental IT infrastructure topics. Required Skills

Education

Bachelor's degree or Diploma (FH) in IT, or completed IT vocational training with extensive relevant professional experience demonstrating equivalent skills and experience.

Experience

  • Several years of professional experience in IT
  • Advanced practical experience in building, installing, administering, and architecting Client VDI platforms (e.g., Citrix)
  • Advanced practical experience with servers under Windows Server 2016 (and upwards)
  • Advanced practical experience in automated software deployment and distribution on clients, servers, and VDI platforms (ideally DSM/ivanti)
  • Desirable: Initial leadership experience (projects, managing service providers)

  • Foreign degrees require recognition in Germany or proof of equivalence. Non-German certificates and degrees require translation by sworn interpreters or translators. Must be able to work in Stuttgart, Germany. Unbefristet (permanent contract).
