This role involves the creation, administration, and maintenance of software and driver packages for automated distribution in Microsoft Windows and Citrix environments, primarily using ivanti/DSM. The specialist will be responsible for the full administration of central group policies for client IT infrastructure and will play a key role in troubleshooting hardware and software issues. This position also requires active participation in cross-team IT infrastructure projects, leading working groups, and managing Windows 11 upgrade cycles. Required Skills
Education
Bachelor's degree or Diploma (FH) in IT, or completed IT vocational training with equivalent skills and experience.
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in the IT sector (for Bachelor's/Diploma holders)
- Long-term, relevant professional experience in IT (for those with IT vocational training)
- Extensive knowledge in automatic software and driver packaging and distribution, ideally with ivanti/DSM
- Advanced experience and knowledge in desktop virtualization administration, ideally with Citrix
- Experience in customer-oriented solution development
- Practical experience in Windows 10/11 update cycles
Languages
Additional
- Foreign degrees require recognition in Germany or proof of equivalent qualification. Non-German certificates and diplomas require translation by sworn interpreters/translators.
