Job Summary

The Max Planck Institute for Solar System Research (MPS) is seeking a proactive and solution-oriented Postdoctoral Researcher to join their Planetary Science Department. This role focuses on the Submillimetre Wave Instrument (SWI) project, specifically developing and enhancing software tools for science operations planning and the ground segment data pipeline. The successful candidate will collaborate with SWI operations and science teams, translating scientific requirements into technical solutions, and contributing to physical modeling in areas like radiative transfer, thermophysical modeling, and atmospheric chemistry.
