Job Summary

This role involves driving Stuttgart's climate neutrality goals by focusing on the implementation of energetic renovations and the development of energy concepts within urban neighborhoods. The successful candidate will identify and concretize measures for energy and climate protection, analyze energy-saving potentials and supply options, and secure funding. A key aspect of the role is coordinating various stakeholders, including energy providers, citizens, and housing companies, and conceptualizing and conducting information events. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute directly to sustainable urban development through national and international research projects, requiring strong technical knowledge in energy technology and excellent communication skills to engage diverse audiences.

Required Skills

Education

Master's or Diploma degree in Energy and Climate Protection or related fields (scientific university degree). For foreign degrees, state recognition in Germany is required.

Experience

  • Professional experience in energy and climate protection or related fields
  • Fundamentale knowledge in energy technology, especially in building and energy supply (residential and non-residential)
  • Experience in preparing complex technical information for non-experts
