Job Summary

This Data Engineer role involves supporting the implementation of data acquisition processes from laboratory instruments and experiments, ensuring compliance with FAIR data standards. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining data acquisition protocols and data models for processing and analyzing scientific data. A key aspect of the role is close collaboration with lab experts, data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to identify and implement data-related requirements. You will also monitor, optimize, and document data pipelines and storage solutions to ensure efficient workflows, maintain data integrity, and adhere to data protection guidelines for sensitive scientific data. This position offers the opportunity to drive the automation of digital processes as a "Digital Workflow Developer," creating innovative and efficient workflows within a dynamic environment.

Required Skills

Education

Degree in Bioanalytics, Computer Science, or Life Sciences with a focus on Data Technology, or relevant vocational training

Experience

  • At least 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in the pharmaceutical industry
  • Professional experience in Bioanalytics, Computer Science, or Life Sciences with a focus on Data Technology
