Job Summary

This Senior Electrical Design Engineer role involves designing, developing, and detailing electrotechnical components for automated handling systems, focusing on electrical hardware, drives, wiring diagrams, interfaces, and safety components. Day-to-day tasks include advanced electronics development, electrical prototyping, commissioning, and testing electrical interfaces. A crucial part of the role is proactive coordination with other engineering disciplines (Software, Sensor Technology, Mechanical Design) and self-sufficiently creating and maintaining cable documentation, bills of materials, and circuit diagrams. The position also requires overseeing prototype construction and commissioning in collaboration with assembly and materials management, as well as leading and training development, assembly, service, and customer service teams. Ideal candidates possess a strong background in electrical design, knowledge of relevant industry standards (CE, VDE, SEMI), and proficiency with ECAD tools like E3 cable series, offering a chance to shape technological progress across diverse industries.
