Job Summary
This role involves overseeing the full lifecycle of road and cycle path construction projects for the Lower Saxony State Authority for Road Construction and Transport in Osnabrück. Day-to-day, you will be responsible for preparing tender documents for earthwork and road construction, managing awarded contracts, processing supplementary bids, and monitoring warranty claims. You will also provide technical guidance to contractors and construction supervisors, including external engineering firms. Required Skills
Education
Completed university degree (Dipl.-Ing.-FH / Bachelor) in Civil Engineering or a comparable field (e.g., Construction Technology, Industrial Engineering with a focus on Construction, Transport Engineering). For civil servants, qualification for the first entry-level of career group 2, technical services.
Experience
- Professional experience in civil engineering, particularly in road and cycle path construction (advantageous)
- Experience with HOAI, VOB, UVgO, and VgV regulations (desirable)
- Experience with specialized applications like RiB iTWO (desirable, or willingness to acquire)
