Job Summary

This role involves working as a Civil Engineer or Bachelor within the Osnabrück regional division of the Lower Saxony State Authority for Road Construction and Transport, focusing specifically on road and cycle path infrastructure projects. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing tender documents for earthwork and road construction, managing awarded contracts, processing supplementary and additional offers, and monitoring warranty claims. The engineer will also be responsible for instructing contractors on construction sites and providing technical guidance to construction supervision personnel, including external engineering firms. A key requirement is a degree in Civil Engineering or a comparable field, along with strong knowledge of public procurement regulations (HOAI, VOB, UVgO, VgV).
