Job Summary
The Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt (PTB), a leading German national metrology institute, is seeking an Electrical Engineering Engineer to join its Direct Current and Low Frequency department in Braunschweig. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating and executing calibrations of electrical AC quantities, developing and operating standards for AC measurement technology (especially AC-DC transfer), and creating software for automating measurement systems. You will also contribute to the quality management of the department, including test equipment monitoring, and provide expert assessments for calibration laboratories. Required Skills
Education
University of Applied Sciences Diploma/Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a comparable scientific-technical field
Experience
- Professional experience in electrical measurement technology
- Experience with AC measurement technology and AC-DC transfer is beneficial
- Programming experience in automating measurement tasks (preferably LabView)
- Knowledge of accreditation and assessment procedures according to DIN EN ISO 17025 is beneficial
