Job Summary
This role involves developing and implementing innovative AI-powered applications, including Machine Learning, NLP, Computer Vision, Generative AI, and RAG systems. The successful candidate will design and program modern software modules, build and integrate data pipelines for training and operating AI models, and collaborate closely with Data Scientists and AI Architects. Key responsibilities also include ensuring code quality, performance, debugging, optimizing existing applications, and documenting developments. This position offers an attractive work environment with good prospects at TKMS GmbH, a leading global system provider for submarines and naval ships, located in Kiel.
Required Skills
Education
Completed degree in (Business) Informatics or comparable qualification
Experience
- Professional experience in software development (Python, Java, C, JavaScript)
- Professional experience in RAG (including pipelines, indexing, chunking, semantic search)
- Experience with frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face
- Good knowledge of Artificial Intelligence (ML, NLP, Generative AI)
- Experience with LangChain, LlamaIndex or similar frameworks (advantageous)
