This role involves contributing to the development of innovative materials and processes that significantly enhance the performance of SPECT systems within Siemens Healthineers. The successful candidate will be responsible for the technical evaluation of semiconductor-based detectors and crystal growth methods, analyzing II-VI bulk crystals for defects, and collaborating with international development teams to improve crystal growth processes. Day-to-day tasks include designing and conducting laboratory measurements, supporting the development of detector models, and facilitating technical knowledge transfer across global business units.
