Job Summary

This role offers an exciting opportunity for a highly organized and proactive individual to provide comprehensive administrative support to the Head of Department and division leads within the "Digitalization and Identities" department at Germany's federal cybersecurity agency. Day-to-day tasks include managing social media channels, creating engaging content, coordinating appointments and events, and assisting with presentations and reports. The successful candidate will also handle general office administration, support project management, and assist with internal and external communication processes. This position is ideal for someone with strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities in both German and English, and a keen interest in contributing to Germany's secure digital future. It offers an indefinite contract in Bonn and a chance to work in a dynamic, growing team at the forefront of cybersecurity.

Required Skills

Education

Civil service qualification for the intermediate general administrative service OR completed vocational training as an administrative assistant. Alternatively, a successfully completed vocational training as a legal assistant, notary assistant, office communication clerk, media clerk, or marketing communication clerk.

Experience

  • Independent work in managing inquiries, appointments, and phone calls
  • Good to very good knowledge in social media for effective platform utilization and management

Additional

  • Consent to an extended security clearance check according to § 9 SÜG. Foreign educational qualifications require proof of equivalence from the Central Office for Foreign Education (ZAB). Willingness to participate in further training and undertake occasional business trips.
