The analyst will be crucial in developing and evaluating methodologies and analytical tools for this purpose. Key responsibilities include conducting Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) research, building a knowledge base on attack techniques and infrastructure, and developing standardized reporting formats. The ideal candidate must possess a relevant Bachelor's or Diploma degree (e.g., in Political Science, Intelligence Studies, or Data Science) and have multi-year professional experience as a case officer or administrator, coupled with profound expertise in OSINT research and social media analysis. This position requires strong analytical skills, the ability to process complex information independently, and excellent teamwork capabilities, operating within a high-stakes, time-limited environment until May 2027.

Required Skills

Education

Bachelor's or Diploma (FH) degree in Social Sciences (especially Political Science, International Relations), Administrative Sciences (e.g., Public Management), Intelligence Studies, Data Science, Digital Administration and Cyber Security, or (Business/Administrative) Informatics; OR completed federal advanced training leading to qualification for the higher non-technical administrative service.

Experience

  • Multi-year professional experience in the function of a case officer or administrator (Sachbearbeiter)
  • Profound experience in OSINT research and social media analysis
  • Experience in independently systematizing and presenting complex facts tailored to the audience

Additional

  • Must be willing to undergo an extended security clearance (Ü2-Sabotage Protection) according to § 9 SÜG. The position is temporary, with a contract duration until May 31, 2027. Location is Berlin.
