Job Summary

This role involves ensuring the digital accessibility of courts and public prosecutor's offices by administering central applications for electronic legal transactions. Day-to-day tasks include performing third-level support, conducting error analyses, troubleshooting, and optimizing system usage within the Lower Saxony judiciary. The successful candidate will also participate in IT projects, integrating new software products, and operating future IT solutions for electronic legal transactions, particularly in conjunction with electronic files and specialized procedures. Key responsibilities extend to contributing to the conception, configuration, and administration of virtual server systems, including databases and application servers, as well as designing and optimizing related processes. Required Skills

Education

Relevant university degree (e.g., Computer Science) or equivalent practical experience in the IT field

Experience

  • Professional experience in an IT environment, demonstrating equivalent abilities and experience to a relevant university degree
  • Profound knowledge of the Microsoft universe (e.g., Active Directory, PowerShell, IIS)
  • Experience in administering Windows Server operating systems
  • Experience in implementing Web Services with common application servers
  • Good knowledge of relational database systems like MS SQL Server and/or Oracle in medium to large IT environments
