Job Summary

This role involves ensuring the seamless operation of central cross-sectional applications vital for the electronic judicial file (e-file), enabling fully digital workplaces across courts and public prosecutor's offices in Lower Saxony. The System Administrator will be a key member of the operations team, focusing on Third-Level Support, performing complex error analysis, troubleshooting, and optimizing system usage within the judiciary. Key responsibilities also include active participation in IT projects for integrating new software and configuring central virtual server systems, databases (MS SQL/Oracle), and application servers. The ideal candidate possesses a relevant university degree or equivalent practical IT experience, profound knowledge of the Microsoft ecosystem (Active Directory, PowerShell, IIS), and strong skills in Windows Server/Client administration. Success in this position requires team capability, initiative, service orientation, and fluency in German (C1 level).

Experience

  • Professional experience in the IT environment, acquired through practice (if no relevant degree is held)
  • Profound knowledge in the administration of Windows server and client operating systems
  • Good knowledge of relational database systems like MS SQL Server and/or Oracle in medium and large IT environments
