Job Summary

This role involves comprehensive project controlling activities within the Construction Management department of the Tempelhof-Schöneberg District Office in Berlin. The specialist will be responsible for planning, data collection, steering, and monitoring the district office's approved work plans for construction maintenance and investment measures. Key duties include establishing and maintaining a reporting system for fund management, analyzing deviations from targets, initiating corrective actions, and preparing data for political committees. The position also supports budget planning and investment planning, including preparing applications for additional funds. Required Skills

Education

Completed relevant university degree (Bachelor's) in Public Administration, Administration and Law, Business and Law, Public Administration Economics, Public- and Nonprofit Management, Administrative Informatics, Business Administration, Facility Management, or Industrial Engineering. Alternatively, participation in a lateral entry program in Berlin with at least one year of qualification (for diploma or bachelor's graduates).

Experience

  • Professional experience in project controlling or a related financial management role
  • Experience in budget planning and financial reporting

  • Candidates must meet the civil service requirements for the first entry-level position of career group 2 in the General Administrative Service (for civil servants) or hold the specified university degree (for tariff employees).
