Job Summary
This role offers an exciting opportunity to join Germany's Federal Police Aviation Unit in Sankt Augustin as a Pilot. You will be responsible for the independent flight preparation and post-processing of missions, as well as the technical readiness of helicopters for police and air rescue services. Required Skills
Education
• CPL(H) with ATPL(H) Theory according to VO(EU) 1178/2011 • Valid Instrument Rating for helicopters • Valid Type Rating EC 135 • Class 1 Medical Certificate according to VO(EU) 1178/2011 • MCC (Multi-Crew Cooperation) certificate • Willingness to become a police officer in the higher police enforcement service
Experience
- Minimum 18 months of relevant professional experience in police or air rescue services. (Candidates without this experience may gain it on the job.)
- At least three years of professional experience (if over 34 years old at time of employment)

- Must be willing to become a police officer in the higher police enforcement service
- Must not have completed 34th year of age at the time of employment (exception: up to 42nd year of age with at least three years of professional experience)
- German or EU/EEA citizenship required
- Commitment to the liberal democratic basic order of the German Basic Law
- No criminal record
- Stable financial situation
- Physical fitness suitable for a police officer (determined by sports test and medical examination)
