The technician will also perform leaching experiments on raw materials like ores, ashes, and black mass. A key part of the job is supporting students with their thesis work and assisting with laboratory practicals related to project activities. Responsibilities also include preliminary evaluation and meticulous documentation of results. Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as a Chemical Laboratory Technician or comparable qualification in Chemistry, Applied Natural Sciences, or Chemical Engineering

Experience

  • Experience in setting up and operating laboratory and pilot plant facilities
  • Experience in instrumental analytics (ICP-OES/MS, RFA, IC, TG, elemental analysis)

Additional

  • This is a fixed-term contract until June 30, 2028, within a third-party funded project. High degree of initiative, self-organization, teamwork, and resilience are required. Enthusiasm for scientific work and a willingness to learn new topics are essential. The position is full-time (40 hours/week), but part-time may be possible.
