Job Summary
This HR Business Partner role, based in Berlin, Germany, is a pivotal position responsible for managing the full employee life cycle and acting as the primary point of contact for the works council. Day-to-day, you'll coordinate works council inquiries, lead negotiations on company agreements, and advise employees and managers on labor and social law. The role involves overseeing change management processes, conducting BEM procedures, and preparing HR documents and reports. You will also contribute to group-wide HR projects, optimize HR processes, and lead one direct report. Required Skills
Education
University degree in Business, Law, or Social Sciences with a focus on Human Resources
Experience
- 5+ years of professional experience as an HR Generalist
- In-depth knowledge of German Works Constitution Act and experience collaborating with works councils
- Proficient in labor, collective bargaining, and social security law matters
- Experience in change and conflict management
- Experience in conducting Company Integration Management (BEM) procedures
- Leadership experience with direct reports
