Job Summary

This role focuses on providing deep technical automation support for critical process control systems and production facilities operating within a strictly regulated GMP environment in Mainz. Day-to-day responsibilities include the maintenance, administration, and lifecycle management of automation and computer systems, specifically utilizing SIMATIC PCS7 and TIA systems. The engineer will ensure high plant availability, support commissioning and qualification activities, and develop concepts for production data routing and integrity. Key requirements include a technical degree or equivalent qualification in Electrical or Automation Engineering, coupled with 2-3 years of experience in industrial automation, ideally within the pharmaceutical or chemical sectors. The position requires strong problem-solving skills, flexibility, and fluency in both German and English, offering a chance to contribute actively to operational excellence while benefiting from flexible hours and robust development programs.

Required Skills

Education

Completed technical degree from a university or technical college (FH), or equivalent qualification such as Technician or Master in Electrical Engineering or Automation Technology.
