Join the Radioactivity and Nuclear Emergency Protection team at CVUA Freiburg as a Chemical Laboratory Technician, contributing to food safety and consumer protection. In this full-time, permanent role starting October 2025, you will perform critical analyses of food, feed, and drinking water samples for artificial and natural radioactivity using advanced techniques like high-resolution gamma spectrometry and alpha spectrometry. Your day-to-day will involve conducting multi-stage wet chemical procedures for sample preparation, maintaining measurement devices, and evaluating results with specialized software. You'll also contribute to method development, data management in LIMS, and mentor trainees.
