Job Summary
This Process Engineer MS&T role in Mainz, Germany, is crucial for the production of personalized cancer therapies. The successful candidate will lead technology transfers, optimize and monitor production processes including DNA/RNA manufacturing, lipoplex formation, fill & finish, and packaging. As an MS&T Lead, you will have decision-making authority over operational technical projects and collaborate closely with process and technical development teams. Key responsibilities include continuous process improvement, evaluation of single-use materials, monitoring system parameters, and troubleshooting. Required Skills
Education
Master's degree or PhD in a relevant scientific field (e.g., biotechnology, chemistry, pharmacy, bioengineering)
Experience
- At least 3 years of MS&T professional experience in a regulated field
- Hands-on experience in technology transfer, process validation, or continuous process verification (strongly preferred)
- Background in statistical analysis
- Background in technical plant engineering (advantageous)
