Job Summary
The Landesamt für Natur, Umwelt und Klima Nordrhein-Westfalen (LANUK) is seeking a dedicated Chemical Laboratory Technician to join their team in either Bonn or Münster. In this role, you will be responsible for the crucial task of sampling various water types, including wastewater from municipal and industrial treatment plants, surface waters, and groundwater. Your day-to-day will involve preparing sampling vehicles, maintaining equipment, planning routes, and conducting on-site measurements and sample preservation. You will also meticulously document sampling protocols in a laboratory data information system and participate in on-call duties. This position offers a secure, full-time or part-time, permanent role within a public authority focused on environmental protection, providing a meaningful contribution to sustainability.
Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as a Chemical Laboratory Technician, Chemical Worker, Wastewater Technology Specialist, Chemical-Technical Assistant, or comparable qualification
Experience
- • Practical experience in sampling services (advantageous)
Languages
Additional
- Valid Class III or B driving license and willingness to drive a company vehicle (typically a small van); physical resilience for fieldwork; willingness to work nights and weekends occasionally; participation in on-call service; ability to work in Bonn or Münster (specify preferred location in application).
