Job Summary

This role at the State Agency for Nature, Environment and Climate North Rhine-Westphalia (LANUK) involves conducting biological water quality assessments, focusing on macrozoobenthos, macrophytes, and phytobenthos in flowing waters according to the European Water Framework Directive.   • Interest in taxonomic processing of organism groups and willingness to learn species identification
  • Willingness to conduct full-day field work and investigations on flowing waters, including occasional overnight stays
  • Physical resilience for field activities
