Job Summary

This role is for a Digital Musicologist to join the "MusicDNA" research project, focusing on bridging the gap between musical scores and their acoustic manifestations. The successful candidate will conceptualize and develop a web-based software prototype that enables searching music catalogs via query-by-humming and converting audio recordings into notated musical incipits. This involves significant web development, ensuring data and software quality, and actively networking within the academic and professional communities. Required Skills

Education

Master's degree in Applied Computer Science, Digital Humanities with a focus on Digital Musicology, or Musicology with proven experience in software development

Experience
