This role involves supporting the innovative "TERRA" research project, which focuses on developing and evaluating plant-carbon-based growth substrates for future forest conversion. The successful candidate will be instrumental in optimizing the use of plant carbon in biodegradable textile systems within forestry. Day-to-day tasks include planning, preparing, executing, and evaluating experiments in both technical facilities and field trial areas. This encompasses preparing seedlings and seeds, setting up experimental systems, caring for trial plants, and conducting sampling and analyses. The position requires a background as a technical assistant or laboratory technician with experience in lab work, greenhouses, or field trials, particularly in reforestation and forestry planting methods. It's an attractive opportunity for someone passionate about sustainable forestry and hands-on research.

Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as a State-certified Technical Assistant (Biological-Technical Assistant / Agricultural-Technical Assistant / Plant Technologist) or Laboratory Technician with a natural science degree.
