Join a dedicated team as a Biologist, contributing to sustainable and future-oriented infrastructure projects across Germany and Europe. Your day-to-day will involve conducting faunal and floral surveys, habitat assessments, and preparing biological expert reports, including species protection assessments and Natura 2000 preliminary reviews. You will also be responsible for evaluating ecosystem impacts, developing compensation measures, and participating in environmental impact assessments. Required Skills
Education
Degree in Biology, Ecology, Landscape Ecology, Environmental Sciences, or a comparable field
Experience
- Experience in mapping flora and fauna
- Experience in species protection assessments (e.g., according to BNatSchG, FFH Directive)
- Experience in the evaluation and planning of ecological measures
- Experience in the creation of ecological expert opinions and assessments
- Professional experience is not strictly required; opportunities for career changers and those without prior experience are available
