Job Summary

This role at the Bavarian State Office for the Environment involves developing and applying models for comprehensive air quality assessment across Bavaria. The successful candidate will build and validate models for both local and regional air quality, analyze pollutant sources, and determine the representativeness of measurement stations. Required Skills

Education

University Degree (Dipl. Univ. / Master) in Mathematics, Physics, Meteorology, Geoinformatics, Geography, Data Science, Engineering, Process Engineering, or a comparable natural science field.

Experience

  • Professional experience in air quality modeling and assessment
  • Experience with small and large-scale models for calculating air immission situations
  • Experience in validating models with measurement results
  • Experience in determining measurement site representativeness
  • Experience in pollutant source analysis
